Online Ordering
In your shopping cart, please select In-Store Payment.
All credit card payments to The Invitation Place are handled through PayPal. It is set up that way because it gives me chance to review all orders personally before they get released into production. The only exception is if you are ording from the Kate Aspen product link - credit card info must be input into that shopping cart.
What will happen after you place your order is: you will receive an emailed invoice for your records (this will include Sales Tax for Michigan residents for an accurate total) & then a PayPal Money Request shortly after that for the amount of the invoice. No PayPal account is required on your part to complete this process. Past customers have told me it's a very easy process, plus its a very safe way to pay. If you prefer not to wait for the invoice & PayPal Money Request you may send PayPal payment immediately from your PayPal account to julie@weddinginvitationplace.com but please be advised that your final amount may or may not change depending on the final details or your order.
In the meantime, I will review your order carefully and once payment is received will email or call you regarding any changes that I would suggest if necessary.
Ordering In Person
Cash, Check or Money Order - A 50% deposit is required for all orders. The balance is due at time of pick-up. There will be a $25.00 fee for all checks returned for any reason of non-payment.
Credit card: A PayPal Money Request will be sent from The Invitation Place to the email address you provide in order to make the credit card payment (No PayPal account set-up is required by you, the customer). Once your payment has been received the order can be released. A 50% deposit is required & the balance is due upon pick-up.
*15% Discount restrictions
The 15% discount advertised excludes Seal-n-Sends, Sep-n-Sends, Simply Sensible Budget Packages, Photo Invitations & other photo products, Blank Stock for DYI project, budget invitations (usually indicated by a heart symbol on the ordering sites) and other licensed products. Those products exempt from the 15% discount will receive 10% instead.
10% discount applies to most accessory products.
No discount on Seating Chart Posters. Prices are as posted on website.
Assembly Services
Invitation orders arrive unassembled. If you will be picking up your order instead of having it shipped directly to your address, assembly services are offered. Please call or email for an assembly pricing sheet to be emailed to you.
Catalog Requests
We do not produce mail-order catalogs. See "Samples".

Foreign Languages
We can print foreign languages when the letters are from the English alphabet. In addition, we offer Spanish verses for wedding and Quince Años ensembles.
Making Changes
If you’ve sent your order and you’ve found you’ve made a mistake, please call 616-291-1199 immediately. We will confirm the status of your order, and will let you know if a change can be made. Please note additional fees may be required to stop your order to make a change. We encourage you to look over your order very carefully before sending it to avoid the cost of having it reprinted.
Order Cancellation
Once an order has been released for printing no cancellations are allowed.
Ordering More
Contact us immediately if you discover you need to increase the quantity. We will try to catch the order before it’s printed. The price for an additional 25 is always a much better value than a new order for 25. Consider ordering an extra 25 in case of mistakes or last minute additions. If your order cannot be stopped before it is printed, we will notify you, and you will be charged the new order price should you decide to place the additional order.
Rushes
Because our production time is so fast, we are unable to rush your order once it is in-house. However, we suggest you choose an expedited shipping method on the shipping screen to ensure the quickest delivery.
Samples
Please contact me before ordering samples online. It can take 2 weeks to receive samples ordered directly online.Please email first as most times a sample can be provided much faster vs. ordering directly online. Most, but not all of the selections online are available for viewing by appointment if you are local to Grand Rapids, MI. Please feel free to email or call with any particular invitation(s) that interests you to find out.
If you would like to order directly online, please be advised it can take 10-14 business days.
Shipping
Many orders ship between 24-72 hours after the order is approved & released by The Invitation Place. Please confirm production time prior to ordering if your order is time sensitive. Notifications of pending orders placed online are emailed to us once per day at 4 am but if you would like to expidite your order as fast as possible, please call or email to inform us that you have placed an order. Be sure to add on the appropriate shipping time (2-7 days) based on your location and shipping service level. For an expedited shipping service, please indicate method on shipping screen in your shopping cart.
