After two years in college, I took a part-time job at a local print shop right here in Grand Rapids, MI. It didn’t take long to realize that this industry would become my full-time career and my lifelong passion. Over the last 35 years, I’ve mastered many different aspects of the printing world.

My journey began by helping couples find the perfect wedding invitation ensemble to suit their style and budget. I love guiding clients through every detail, from placing their order to navigating proper wording and etiquette. My deep experience in related trades like typesetting, graphic arts, and pre-press has fostered a unique creativity that I bring to every project.

Beyond weddings, I work closely with medical, legal, and corporate clients—including trusted names like Amway, Frost, Spartan Stores, and Metro Health-University of Michigan Health. I specialize in crafting professional holiday greeting cards, corporate invitations, letterheads, envelopes, business cards, and custom commercial stationery.

The Inspiration for the Business Name: This came during my 20 years working at that local print shop. Clients would often call their friends or family from their cell phones to say, "I'm at the invitation place!" instead of using the store's actual name. Eventually, the generic nickname stuck, and the official identity was born!
